RESPECT package for workplaces

STI/HIV/AIDS education programmes for workplaces- Check out what’s new and upcoming! The RESPECT Package for Workplaces is an STI/HIV/AIDS education programme designed to cultivate awareness on STI/HIV/AIDS at the workplace. It consists of four components:1) The Love Talk 2) Bridges of Hope Workshop 3) Roving Exhibits 4) Print Material The Love Talk is a one hour talk that covers topics and issues on STI/HIV/AIDS which can be conducted during lunch hours. For a more interesting and lively approach to learning about STI/HIV/AIDS, companies can sign up for the Bridges of Hope workshop, which is a two hour workshop filled with fun and interactive activities for participants. All talks and workshops will be conducted on-site at the company’s premises HPB introduced three new exhibits for the RESPECT programme in September this year. Companies now have the option of selecting one, two or all three exhibits to be displayed at their workplace. The exhibits provide a unique and interesting way of creating awareness on STI/HIV/AIDS. World AIDS Day Concert In conjunction with World AIDS Day, which falls on 1st December 2008, Singapore will have its very own premier World AIDS Day concert on Saturday 29th November 2008. Called Love Amplified, it is a showcase of well-known local talents in the entertainment industry, coming together in solidarity to fight discrimination and raise awareness about HIV/AIDS. Held at Fort Canning Park, artistes performing include Stephanie Sun, Electrico, EC, Hardy Mizra, the Dim Sum Dollies and Hossan Leong. Love Amplified - A World AIDS Day Concert Special Promotion: Companies who sign up for any two components of the RESPECT package before October 2008 will receive free tickets to attend Love Amplified! Promotion is available while stocks last! Mobile Roadshow-Use La! It's back again-the Mobile Roadshow for workplaces! Called Use La!, this interactive drama has been specially conceptualised for blue-collar employees with the aim of encouraging audience participation in exploring issues related to STI/HIV/AIDS. Collaterals such as posters and stickers will be given out to workplaces that sign up for this year’s roadshow.
