Rules & Regulations
 

 
 

AsiaOne Adventure Race is open to all Singaporeans and Permanent Residents.

Each team must consist of 4 members with a minimum age of 23 and above.

Each member is required to possess a valid Class 3 driving license,

with a minimum of 01 year's driving experience.

At least one team member must be a SingTel Mobile Postpaid subscriber.
     
  Registration
     
 
1.
 All entries for the Event MUST be submitted online (www.asiaone.com/a1race2) by 4 April 2010,
11:59pm with a team photo.Photo entries incorporating the MINI brand will be given extra credit.
 
2.
 A copy of NRIC, valid driving licenses must also be submitted once the team is selected for
the race.
 
3.
 Every team member must be at least 23 years old and have a Class 3 driving licence.
 
4.
 All details and particulars submitted during registration must be true, accurate and complete.
Any incorrect or incomplete information will result in the disqualification of entry into the Event.
 
5.
 The organiser, sponsors and event manager shall not be liable for the loss of opportunity to participate in the Event due to incomplete registration details or application not received or
accepted by the organiser.
     
     
  During the Event
     
 
1.
 Of the 15 teams, 8 teams will be selected from the open registration exercise and the remaining 7 teams will comprise of MINI Owners and their team members.
 
2.
 Each of the 8 teams from the open registration exercise will be assigned a MINI to drive during
the event. The model assigned will vary from team to team.
 
3.
 Selected teams will be notified by 07 April 2010 via phone and email and all team members must
be present for the briefing session held on 14 April 2010 @ 7:00pm.
 
4.
 Team members are not allowed to split up at any time.
 
5.
 Participants will be required to report at the final pit stop by 4:15pm, failing which they will be disqualified. Participants are required to report to the check-in master at each pit stop before attempting the task. Teams will receive the next location clue upon completing the task. The
Winner for the race is determined by the amount of points scored for each task performed.
Additional points will also be given to teams who report at the final pit stop the fastest.
 
6.
 Teams assigned a MINI each to drive during the event will be required to cover damages charges
to the MINI not exceeding S$2500 where applicable.
 
7.
 The organisers, sponsors and event manager shall not be liable for any injuries, death, accidents, traffic violations, illness or any other loss or damage suffered by the participants during the
course of the Event. All participants are to be aware that they are taking part in the Event at
their own risk and shall indemnify the organiser, sponsors and event manager from any claim, demand, causes of action, losses, damages and expenses that may be brought by any third party
as a result of loss, damage, personal injuries or death suffered as a result of or in connection
with or arising from the participants taking part in the Event.
 
8.
 The organiser reserves all rights to the photographs, recordings, or any other record obtained
during the Event for any legitimate purposes including commercial advertising.
 


 
  Prizes
     
 
1.
 Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless otherwise specified and must be
utilized within the specified validity period (where applicable). No requests for extensions will
be entertained.
 
2.
 Eurokars Habitat Pte Ltd reserves the right to allocate any MINI models for the 1st prize winner, subject to availability at the time of booking.
     
     
  Notwithstanding anything in these terms and conditions, the organizer and event manager
reserve the rights at any time in its absolute discretion to:
     
 
A.
 Cancel or modify the game mechanism;
 
B.
 Determine and/or amend, by addition to, deletion from or variation of, these Rules and
Regulations without prior notification, including but not limited to, the eligibility terms and
criteria for the games and lucky draw, the selection of the winner, and the timing and venue
of any act to be done, and all participants and winner shall be bound by such determination
and/or amendments; and
 
C.
 Substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason and without any payment or compensation whatsoever.
